We had lovely weather at Easter, not looking so promising for this week....but if we are away for a couple of days we chill and enjoy ourselves but if we stayed at home we would be doing all the little jobs on the list then slumped in front of the telly. Also in the longer breaks we take the van abroad anyway.
Sitting at JFK New York waiting to come home after a lovely 2 weeks visiting grand-kids.......but would have loved to be away in the van this week-end!
------------- Started with a motorbike and tent.......my gallery, my life.
If you listen to the BBC's pessimistic weather forecast you would never buy a caravan! but British weather is 'changeable' so never, at least quite, as bad as the forecast.
We love using the van but my problem is you lot ringing me where ever I am so business as usual, at least, on a week day in the UK. Last year apart from 2 days at Whit this time last year, we didn't have a break for 11 month!!
So this year we decided to do things different and booked a fight to Corfu, be warned....phones off 7-17th of June
Arrived in Cornwall last Wednesday, made a comment about the weather on here shortly after arriving, its now bank holiday monday and it has not stopped raining for 5 days.
Speaking to some people in tents who came for the week, some are going home tomorrow.
Very heavy rain is forecast for the Eastern side of the country for the next week. Pity the poor parents having to put up with bored kids at half term. Weeeelll! Maybe not!

some days you are the tree.
