I would suggest that you get a powerfull one. Whilst my one moves my van about it gets stimied by the slightest kerb higher then 1 inch !

thanks, im looking at the powrtouch classic too, don't have a 4 in curb but do have very narrow gateposts and a ridge about an inch or so from well bedded gravel to concrete that we can't push the van up - Currently have to unhitch outside the drive, put the car in the drive, push van into drive by hand, rehitch to pull up ridge, then unhitch, move car and then push van to final position - What a palaver!

This would read: 'unhitch outside the drive, engage motor mover and drive into place' when you have one fitted. All the palaver disappears!

Every time I came home I dreaded getting mine back onto the drive, now it's done in minutes.:)

I also bought an extra wide solid jockey wheel (after getting fed up with popping and blowing up the other sort) and that is brilliant on gravel, etc.

Something odd with my Enduro.

If i hold the forward button it goes very slighty off to one way. I assume it was because of the small solid rubber jockey wheel.
But if i hold the forward on both left and right motors it goes 100% straight.

Its never been a problem, Although i do check the direction of the jockey wheel now. The 1st time i used it the wheel was at a 90 degree angle to the way i wanted to go. Luckily i spotted it being forced sideways right away.

I would imagine a pneumatic one would have come off and i probably had the power to damage the whole jockey wheel.

I now use the mover to swivel the wheel to trail the direction i intend to go.

it does help if the jockey wheel is facing in the right direct.. often it isnt.. my pneumatic tyre dosnt come off i would not use any other..

i dont expect mine to go exactly straight..i stop and correct every so often.. there are a few variables involved when two separate motors are driving two separate wheels..

thanks for the suggestions, i'm now wondering whether to go for the enduro or ego - whats the main difference between these apart from the cost? Planning to contact autowfix tomorrow to ask a few questions.

However got home tonight to discover my van been damaged by an attempted theft - of another van last night, so my day off will now be spent assessing the damage. Been told its not too bad but will find out tomorrow. GRRR!

No complaints after four years with my EGO, fitted it myself.

Hi I had the ego 2 fitted about two years ago and not only is it easy to engage with a drill and 19mm socket, soft start and very manouverable it has never lets us down and easy on the battery. Do the research and remember that its what suits you that matters.
