the thing is if its the charger at fault it will trip the 240 volts fuse that supplies it.. if its tripping a 12 volts fuse its not the charger its something in the 12 volt line..
but it sounds like a job for an electrician on the spot.. forum guessing even from those with good knowledge isnt going to sort it out.. :)
If the 240v line is tripping when the 12v side is powered up the charger is the most likely candidate as it's the only device connected to both circuits.
As trog and I said, if your not confident and dont have the knowledge and gear you really need a sparks to take a look.

This is our first outing since getting the van out of storage from last year.
We hit our first major problem when we turned on the lights and the fuse box tripped.
Also noticed the charger fuse was blown.
The electrical sockets works and so does heater but we have lost the following:
Water heater
Fan blower on gas fire
Lights inside
Water pump
There are 3 trips on front of fuse box with one that says lights, water heater and pump on it (1st trip on left looking at it).
Does anybody know what this could be?
We have always had a problem with charging battery side of things as the battery has never charged even replacing it.
We are now on a site with out any of the above !!!!
Any help please ?
Thanks
Simon
Been reading up on my Califa module A+B system.
One thing you might try is disconnecting the mains the. disconnecting the battery positive lead, waiting 30 secs and reconnecting it.
