But it is misleading to the OP to suggest that he might expect a Swift warranty. As I pointed out, a second hand Swift van warranty expires at 6 years, so even if the service history is intact, at best there might be just a few months warranty remaining on a 2011 van. I am not defending the seller, simply pointing out that the lack of Manufacturer warranty is not a valid reason to be 'suspicious'.
In your case, for you to have had a warranty claim authorised by Swift last year, it was presumably within the 6 years of the 2010 purchase date. If your van still has the 10 year Swift warranty even though you bought at 2 years old, then your dealer must have made a special arrangement with Swift, not something the OP would expect to achieve after 6 years...
