AL-KO Secure wheel locks can be overcome, but it involves time, noise and oxy-acetylene.
A problem if your caravan is very valuable and you store it in a remote area.
But security is never about absolute impregnability - it's about being sufficiently difficult to overcome that thieves will see the device and go on to the next caravan with the cheapo lock (or no lock at all).
So it's always perplexed me that AL-KO choose to mount the receiver where the lock will be obscured by the awning and where thieves will have trashed your stuff before they see the bloody thing!
As far as levellers go, use a ramp or Froli (which indeed looks as it would foul motor movers and stresses the amount of space it needs) or inflatable bags, but steer clear of the Milenco Aluminium Leveller device whichjacks the 'van up using a screw mechanism: it takes ages to use, is heavy on the arms, and doesn't even jack that high. 90 quids worth of junk.
We have a motor mover ... so what's the recommendation?

Changing the subject a little, Ive just realised that the Froli ramp will interfere with my motor movers, so can anyone tell me if a motor mover will push the caravan up a Milenco Quattro ramp, or if driven up it, is there a risk of wheel spin on a front wheel drive Vectra?
Thanks again!
I have the Milenco triple ramp and my motor mover copes fine with it.

Are levelers an absolute necessity for caravans?
I'm new to caravans, but had an FC for many years ... we only ever used levelers once in nine years ...
I'd be grateful for advice ... we only holiday on continental pitches (not sure if that makes any difference!)
Levellers are necessary for anything you want 'level'.
I've seen 'vans on some right tilts before today, and cant understand how the folk didnt roll out of bed at night.
Levelling - even bang on, isnt hard, and takes no time at all if you have half an eye for all things 'square'.
I carry a couple of short lengths of scaffold board with a chamfer at one end. + a couple of similar pieces of decking board - which are thinner. They've never let me down yet.
When i had the motorhome, we had the millenco quatro ramps - brilliant for that job.
