Great idea makes a lot of sense to me ...only thing that comes to mind is cost of manufacture and would it attract more interest in calls for caravan MOT's, which i don't find a bad idea
it would increase the floor height and therefor roof height of the van as the wheels could not be recessed into the floor.
this has safety issues especially for kids. BUT they would be no higher than 5th wheel outfits, which having seen one on a site recently was MONSTEROUS
------------- if your not living life on the edge your taking up tooo much room

Struggling to understand why it would increase the floor height: a centre axle set-up has an axle running across the width of the caravan - an axle at each end would be the same. Don't see how it would increase the floor height!
