There are two big problems getting a good TV signal on caravan TV
1) TV companies aim the signal towards major towns and cities, the signal in rural areas may well be weaker
2) The aerial on the caravan may be either a small low gain directional or an even lower gain omnidirectional.
They fit an amplifier to try to boost the signal but this also boosts the "noise"
Amplified sh1t is still sh1t.
Buy a decent log periodic aerial Something like this and a pole to fit on the A frame. Before leaving home look on the map where the campsite is and the direction to the TV transmitter, check whether the transmission is horizontal or vertical polarisation (horizontal is most common), take a compass with you and align the aerial to the transmitter
