lol, is the DT you are looking at a double or triple bunk? From sound of it you only need a double. I have heard the bottom bunk can be a bit drafty as its so near the floor and it certainly reduces storage space as well as head height over each of the bunks.

Ours has doubles and the two littles love it. I made a second bed guard from two bits of ply and heavy gaffer tape. I also made up a drawer divider to stand cuttlery upright as the drawer near sink is so deep. Keeps the main 3 easy to get to and stops them getting mixed up with bigger items.

It's a double bunk.

We'd probably find a triple really useful for storing stuff. The Adria bunks are defo a lot bigger than any other make we've looked at.

My 11 year old is destined to be a 6 footer and he's already taller than me so Adria bunk size a must. My 9 year old is the opposite and destined to be diddy so he will get whichever bunk the big one doesn't want!

Whilst it might initially surprise, putting the steadies too hard down induces "springiness" in caravans.

What happens is instead of the van being planted on its wheels and the steadies stopping the see-sawing as we move about, the caravan becomes a bit more of a long beam supported at its ends. ie we take some part of the weight off the axle.

Users of soft grass sites can frequently meet this where say overnight one or more wheels settle a bit into the soft ground; it is easily cured in that case by just relaxing and resetting the rear steadies.

In the OP's case the dealer might have screwed the steadies down hard or a tyre has lost a bit of pressure?

The Adria bunks are a great size in length and more so width, just be aware of restricted headroom for any growing teens. Depends how they find them

ours did us for a few years and loved our Adria. if they had the layout we wanted going forward would have stayed loyal!

Yoooooo, if you got the DT with doubles and its a sportline version you have a real cracker for a family of 4. Very good flexible layout, decent bathroom as well.

It's a 2014 Adria sportline dt. Twin bunks, which are huge.

The thing I loved the most was how open and light it feels with the bathroom at the end. Really opens the living space up.

We are very happy!!!

Nice- would definitely have gone for the twin bunk if that had been available at time (ours was a 2011 model).

Totally agree about space and feeling of openness - it was always the first thing we noticed every time you walked in the door compared to almost any other van I have been in
