C&CC site always seem to work out dearer than CC for us, plus prefer the standard of the CC sites to C&CC.

Each to their own.

We are members of both, but if pushed to choose one only it would be the CC (CAMC) every day of the week.

Do C&CC CS sites have 'facilities' etc...?

Toilets, showers hook up etc? As that's all we need on a site, as we only use them as a 'base' to explore the area...

Hi,
We were at the C&CC site at Moffat in Scotland in October,
the toilet shower block was superb, as was their site at Hereford on the way home.
I have been with the CC for many years but we joined the C&CC for our trip to Scotland last year.
We used three of their sites and had the age discount and no complaints about any of their sites.
Also no bad reports from the CC sites we have used either.
Question of what these clubs can give to you I suppose.

Some do, and some don't, but it's all on their website and in their handbook. What you look for is exactly what we look for, by the sound of things.

Not all do, but they will have a CDP and (separate of course) drinking water tap.

You can check which ones do have toilets etc either on here or on the C&CC website (viewable by non-members, but those wishing further details are asked to "Please log in or join to view address and contact details.")

Green flag doesn't have same cover as mayday, I would check that you can stay with mayday if you leave the cc,

It don't matter if you leave the cc you still member of the green flag mayday as long as you don't let it lapse.Then if you do let it lapse to get back with mayday you would have to rejoin cc

C&CC arrival doesn't have restrictions on length of van and age of vehicle, however, you may have to remind the customer service operator that you have arrival if you need to use them.

Going to give it another year we guess*, and then take it from there....

We've just got booked up for the whit week B/H at a non CC site, which was surprising considering it's only 4 weeks away now....

*The reason we're going to leave it is, I think there's going to be a change of occupation, for both of us of all things over the coming months...

Which could either work for or against being able caravan at last minute, or having to book months in advance - if you know how I mean..?
