Mr Pooter & I have a Swift Basecamp & we love it. The bed is huge and very comfortable. We like to sleep lengthwise and the beds / seats are 6' long. If you sleep across the van it's even bigger. I believe it is 6' x 6'5" when made up.
There is a thread on here called Swift Basecamp (I think) which covers lots of Basecamp related stuff. All owners appear to be very happy with it. Be aware of the implications of the awning on the back.
If there is anything you want to know about the Basecamp... ask away!

Hi Sandgrounder52.   We did order the Basecamp as it was perfect in every way - apart from the length of the awning which doesn't fit on our favourite sites so very sadly we decided to cancel - hence we are looking for something similar with similar seat lengths so we can sleep lengthwise, but with a side door.   Thanks.

Sounds like you might like a Kip Kompakt. Not sure if they have a UK distributor though. Look on their website. Here.

I am 6’ tall exactly, and have found loads of caravans that I can sleep using the dining area as two single beds, with a couple of inches to spare, including our old faithful Bailey Pageant Monarch.
