So also no need for independent check with a new one?

Correct, absolutely none.

I'd still ask for a PDI(Pre Delivery Inspection) certificate, dated, signed and co-signed, with the printed names of the Inspector and Manager

Best to always get a left hand thumb print as well.

to answer your other question, we have an Adria and love it. No damp even after 11 years. Most people who have an Adria swear by it (as opposed to Bailey Owners who seem to swear at them )

Yes, I’ve read a bit about Bailey and leaks. With your Adria, have you ever had to source spare parts? Just wondering how easy this is with it being a foreign caravan?

well mine is a 2007, I broke a bit of plastic on the table and rang Adria in Slovakia for a quote. Plastic about £20, delivery £50, so I super glued it back.

I think if its a more recent model the dealers will cover it. Things like toilets and fridges and stuff are all standard bits of kit not Adria specific so you can get them off ebay. We got a replacement tap for a decent price but had to wait 2 weeks to get it - the service guy ordered it so not sure where from. Adria did win best caravan manufacturer for at least a couple of years so I think theres enough of them about to mean theres some support.

Others might have more up to date info but I think you'll get better support for Broken Bailey's just because they break more often (I'm just rubbing it in in now). If you're looking at new-ish go talk to a dealer. I would definitely buy another Adria if we ever upgrade.

Unfortunately the two dealers nearest to us are 2 hours away and in opposite directions! We drove to one on Sunday and they were shut despite their website saying they should be open - that was fun with two 2 year olds!! Might try the other one.

I think you'll find there are thousands of very satisfied Bailey owners thank you very much, probably many thousands more than satisfied Adria owners in the UK.

We have had 2 adrias, an altea with triple bunks and when our 3 boys outgrew them we changed to an adora Thames. We wouldn’t buy any other make!
