I actually like our high level front window, especially in spring, autumn and winter as it increases the amount of light in the van and makes it seem open and airy. I also find the shelf round the front really useful - much more so than lockers. In hot sun we open all other windows and skylights and partially close that blind, when the sun is coming from that direction.
