Yep, when I was working for Sky 1999-2006, we almost launched a similar system, interweb was via the dish, but return path was to be dial up, they decided to can the idea in the end.

The problem with using GSO Satellites is the latency, due to the 26,000 mile trip that the signal has to make.

SpaceX StarLink service, uses 4000 LEO orbiting at just 200 miles up from the earth.

The 10" pizza box antenna will provide both uplink and downlink, so will also deliver another breed of satellite phones, along with superfast broadband.

I don't know if you have noticed, but Musk always delivers in the end.

Yep, and as he did not contest it, the shares rallied and have in effect wiped out the fine, I guess you would call that a result.

I could confirm exactly the same. In fact I was in touch with Kelper for advice before we bought our WiFi booster.
We have used an elderly skybox and dish in the past but thinking that’s unnecessary now unless WiFi is über expensive, but we usually check that before turning up.

Yep but I am not a Sky subscriber, and BBC/iTV won't work via wi-fi outside of the UK, or so I am told.

On the majority of sites including CLs wifi is so poor you might as well not have bothered plus you have the extra cost of a wifi connection. This also applies to site son the continent.
