Yep, when I was working for Sky 1999-2006, we almost launched a similar system, interweb was via the dish, but return path was to be dial up, they decided to can the idea in the end.
The problem with using GSO Satellites is the latency, due to the 26,000 mile trip that the signal has to make.
SpaceX StarLink service, uses 4000 LEO orbiting at just 200 miles up from the earth.
The 10" pizza box antenna will provide both uplink and downlink, so will also deliver another breed of satellite phones, along with superfast broadband.
I don't know if you have noticed, but Musk always delivers in the end.
