we have had our Avtex STH 3000 for many years. it is a great little aerial. the sucker gets a good hold on the roof and can be even be positioned on the side of our van

Are you trying to get a signal on your drive? My aerial doesn't work on the drive, the other houses on the estate are in the way.

Also, did you know you will need to retune your tv every time you camp in a different area.

I have an Avtex STH 2000, and would recommend it. I use it with my little tv which has an internal booster, but it's not an avtex tv.

Just a few things I thought of, hope it helps.
