hello to a fellow fifer, personally id be checking first that you can get into cornwall even if the site is open. It may be open for locals only, and it would be terrible to drive all that way pulling a caravan only to get turned away.
Your post made me smile. Despite what the locals might think Cornwall is not a country it is a county in England so if you can travel freely in England by Jul 4th then you can go to Cornwall.

Makes a change today, I’ve been annoying everyone since I woke up this morning it seems.
------------- Who needs travel agents,we have our static
Things are liable to be different between Scotland and England, thanks to Sergeant Major Sturgeon!! I've just had an official letter in about shielding, the latest is till at least the end of July!!!! Aye, that'll be right!
We cancelled our week in Cornwall for July, having booked that last August ! it would be no kind of holiday having read all the COVID-19 restrictions that the campsite is to put in place, OK I lost my deposit, but rather that than waste even more money on what would be a shocking holiday experience, what we will have saved by not going the 700 mile round trip, has offset the loss of the deposit.
In a previous post I said nothing on site will be open but we are allowed to go if we have our own facilities. We are ni ot going. We live in the Midlands and it's too far to travel when nothing is open and I dont think the locals may be very welcoming.
We have missed 3 getaways so far, iilf we can go in July even with restrictions we would love to get away, both me and my wife have been working through the pandemic we need a break, we should have been away at Norfolk this week but we at at home doing DIY
Latest from Dorset Council is "Stay Local, Stay Safe & Keep Apart".
Although BJ & co want to reopen everything for the sake of the economy the virus is still with us & Dorset has a high elderly vulnerable population.
The R number in the South West is still up around the 1.0!
We've not been out since the middle of March.
Be prepared for a frosty reception in some areas.

Saltash, just in Cornwall, stopping near Swindon and Bridgwater en route. We are retired so don't need to do long trips.
If you haven't any thing planned.we have a small site near Bridgewater (2 motorway stops south at Wellington) 1 mile from motorway so easy acces for an overnight layover.

After deep consideration we feel it would be wrong in this current situation to travel 500 miles through the country to an unknown and changing situation. So we have cancelled
