We have missed 3 trips away this year already, so setting off soon to nearby St Andrews, we are self sufficient so will be ok even if it is busy. We enjoy lots of walking and the change of view will be appreciated.
What site are you heading to Jinty?
------------- Who needs travel agents,we have our static
we are waiting until Thursday 9th in the hope the roads will be quieter. Have booked a CL on a working farm, so hoping to avoid the crowds. we are planning on a quiet weekend of walking and relaxing as ive worked all through lockdown and just need a break. We will be using our own facilities too so could in theory not go near anyone for the weekend!

Next Monday would normally be the start of our two weeks away, but we will be giving it a miss this year. It's normally fairly quiet, as it ends when the school holidays begin, but I don't think it will be this year, and we don't like crowds or a lot of noise, so we'll leave it until after the schools go back. Waiting isn't a problem for us as we enjoy being in our own garden in summer anyway.
I’m off to Blair Drummond for the first of hopefully many lovely trips in our new (old) van on 15th July when they open facilities. Got some friends booked in to the tent section so now we are just praying for good weather. It’s been awful so far 😩. We should have been in Menorca this week ... alas not to be. Scottish summer holidays here we come! So hard keeping kids entertained this year when they can only see one friend outside and no attractions open! Oh please send us some lovely weather!

We are, CLs near Swindon, Bridgwater, main one near Saltash, different one near Bridgwater and Lambourn for return, hopefully not crowded.
Being 5 van sites, even if they're full they shouldn't be crowded
Hope so Bofs, the kind of sites we prefer, as you know. Saltash between Looe, where OH and I met, and Salcombe where we have spent a lot of time in our younger days, hope to visit both.
Yes, heading for c&mh site near whitby for a week, got our pitch number,9am arrival slot and all paid for.only an hour or so from home should everything go pear shaped. Should have been in Fetiyhe,Turkey now so after working 12 hour days/ nights all through lockdown have absolutely no qualms about getting away in our own bubble to a site with no facilities other than water and electric.
Us in Wales will be ok to Go from the 13th hopefully , but we will be staying local and rural self contained shower and Toilets.Luckily we used van early March for two weeks ,so all ready to go bar fishing kit.As long as u use your head , listen to guidance u should be fine.
Going to Lower Wensleydale CC site.
Have pre paid, taking all food and loads of wine.
Will us our own facilities
Will do a bit of walking and cycling, TV and reading
REALLY looking forward to it.
