I had a ño bĺame accident and he drove off, I am with ccc insurance and they were brilliant, they had a assessor to look as it,there was a mark on the door as weĺl, he said it needs a new door be because it was slightly warped, I was told to get a quote, the repairs wère quickly done, and my insurance hardly went up
So you're happy that your Insurance company, that you have probably been paying to for x amount of years without claiming have fixed your caravan and admitted it wasn't even your fault, and then your premiums go up ?
So guess who is paying for the repairs :)
Insurance is a risk business, so they tell us. That's why different postcodes have higher premiums due to car thefts, burglaries etc.
There is no way I would accept a rise in Premiums if I was not to blame for damage to my vehicle, I'd be looking for new insurers.
Insurance has now become a money making machine not even based on risk, or previous history with the company you pay insurance to.
My last car insurance came through with an increase of nearly £200, phoned them up and suddenly it was £50 cheaper than I had paid the previous year. Work that one out :)

Insurance companies are just businesses they aren't a charitable organisations. They are there to make the most profit for their shareholders the same as any business, no different to all the energy suppliers, fuel stations ,supermarkets etc.
If you don't like their terms you just move elsewhere.
True, which is why I always do comparisons every year..
Even if you switch the fact that there has been a claim will, with the vast majority of insurers, result in a higher premium being offered.

When I had a car stolen some years back, my insurer wanted to charge quite a bit more for the replacement. So I switched, not hiding anything, and got insurance elsewhere quite a bit cheaper than I'd paid before. Some insurers just want the business, so if it wasn't your fault and you don't try to hide anything, they may give you a good deal. Always worth a try.
------------- Best Regards,
Colin
