At one dealership a couple of vans ago we had decided on a van and without seeing our van he made a deal on value. I asked him several times if he wanted to see our van but he declined. On the day of the change over and after we had the run through on the new (to us) van he said he wanted to inspect our van the confirm its value, fine I said, the vans attached to my car and if you come up with a different value to the one we had agreed on, it stays on the car and I'll take it away with me again. He looked around it but he was a bit sheepish after this, I think he was intending to reduce his offer with some old flannel and hoped to get away with it.
------------- Just saying
If all is not lost where is it then?
