It's important to check the roof is sloping so that rain will run off. If not it can pool and that will pull the roof lower and lower until you have a big swimming pool.
Mick its,on a sloping pitch think that's,why it's slightly askew but it looks,a lot better .Its not a new awning but it's a really good one. Navver yes the roof is sloping it shows better on the outside and we have extra roof poles to help.stoo any pooling as its seasonal. We have tensioned as much as we can the roof isnt drum tight .We had one that was tensioned drum tight by caravan dealers that put it up for hsand it ripped right along rail.in winds we were told it need a bit of give x
Can any one advise me on whether or not to leave 12cm suction pads on my van when not in use. I have a canopy which I hope erect beside the van and will require a strong fixing as the thing will be tensioned with guy lines. I’m wondering that if I constantly remove them they will become weaker, but if I leave them perhaps the plastic housing will become brittle. Any ideas?
