Have you got a link to what you purchased? If its like this one https://www.leisureoutlet.com/173146-sunncamp-swift-260-sc-caravan-porch-awning-grey then it comes with one pole. The pole goes up the side through the front and down the other side. Very often porch poles have to be bought as an extra like this https://www.4adventurers.co.uk/universal-canopy-pole-set-200cm-kampa

As for the roof ridge pole - there should be a couple of very small pockets about a cm or so, (one at the caravan awning rail and one oposite where the awning pole is) which the roof pole fits in to.
