No G. We have a Stirling Eccles, 2 berth and our last battery only lasted about 13 months so I am keeping my on this one. It is nice to know battery is OK.
Thanks for replies and we will change battery on mover remote. Who would have thought about remote batteries?lol.
Cheers
Len
Just 13 months for a leisure battery? Mine has been on the van for over 6 years and it's still fine. They do vary though from make to make.
Yes the remote batteries do need changing from time to time, I had to change mine last year.
Came home from Scotland. Left battery on caravan, but disconected live (red) lead. Went back 7 weeks later
,connected battery and it read fully charged.
We will be home tommorrow from our last outing and we are thinking about taking battery home. How often should i trickle charge it.Cheers

If the battery stayed fully charged over 7 weeks it doesn't sound like there is much wrong with it. I take our battery off over winter and will be doing so soon as I know we won't be using it again this year. I keep it in a fairly warm place and give it a trickle charge at least once a month. The battery is now more than 6 years old and is absolutely fine. Given that its state of charge each time I put the charger on is good, I could probably get away with charging it less often, but why take that chance?
