We're going courtesy of a pair of winning tickets in the C and CC magazine.

We went two years ago and had a good day out. I think we're going on the Friday.

Are there places to eat a picnic and can we leave the bag anywhere to save carting around?  If not I'll just have to wait and starve!!

Reckon I'll wear my pedometer too I think thats a brill idea.

I note there is an advance booking discount is there any further discount for ukcs members?

Is it a good show as it is quite expensive in comparison with the York & Peterborough.

It will be my first time at this event

I've just go my tickets come through and i'm really glad I chose the 26th (not because it was the last day by because the Premiership football Trophy will be there) It was something to brib the kids with. Might pick up a bargin! but then again may spend a fortune. I've had a look at the list of stand holders and will be doing my homework before I go.

Great tips re food - will do a good old English Breakfast before we go and take a few snacks / water / pop. Luckily we only live 7 miles from the NEC, so the start is not too early.

To spot me I will be the one with 2 stroppy looking 13 year olds (boy and girl).

They will be 13 on the 20th Feb - but it does feel like they've been teenagers for the last 4 years!

Mine you they really enjoy going to our local camping shop - Jackson of Arley - but do mentally tend to spend £1000s.

Never mind the sun is coming out in Birmingham (as I speak) and soon we can spend weekends away.

We will be going on the 18th as we received complimentary tickets from doing the competition via this site - didn't expect to win anything (as not normally the lucky type!) and as it was my first time doing this was really happy!  Would have liked to have gone on the last day, but we are going away for the weekend near Stratford Upon Avon with our two dogs (they've got to have their little treat too!).  Had thought about going before, but after spending so much money on our first caravan and all the accessories, we decided against it as it would cost £25 for the tickets.  I've just had a birthday and my partner's is tomorrow so money we get as prezzies we will be taking with us - bang goes the idea of putting it straight into the bank to cover the cost of all the things we keep buying for the caravan!!  We will be taking our own lunch with us, but are planning to have a big breakfast before we leave as it will take us about 1-1½ hours to drive there. 

Looking forward to it...!

As I am going on the 26th who knows we may bump into each other, I won't have any kids with me as my youngest is 27.
