    Quick tip, If you are blowing out a jet always remove it, obviously, and blow it through in the opposite direction to the normal flow of gas. This ensures that any particles in it leave in the same direction they came from, doing it in the normal direction can force any bits that may be there to make the blockage worse by jamming tighter in the hole.

A lot of poorly operating gas burners are usually due to partially blocked jets, I cleaned out my oven gas jet the other week because the OH struggled to do a yorkshire pudding! and the difference is amazing, I have to do the same thing on my dads static van  with the grill and oven every so often, I keep saying I'll take my compressor up there one day and blow out the pipes.
