Only costs pennies, but for a proper fitting of socket and shaft I would need some welding stuff. These things depend very much on ones regular outfit of tools, bits and pieces at home. I would have had to find and buy seperate parts, while I simply found the bit in the shop. As to the drill, I had that already, so the most expensive part was catered for. But the most surprising part for myself is that somehow every time I think of bringing the drill, I somehow find it not worth the trouble and leave it at home. All extra luggage. and weight. Probably in combination with Wurmi's for the awning it would become more worthwile. Or if preparing for a real touring holiday with many stops.
