We eat pretty much what we do at home - cereal for breakfast, sandwich and fruit for lunch, cooked meal in the evening. Found that we had such trouble finding reasonably priced eateries at lunch time, especially with a dog in tow, that it's easier just to take sandwiches with us. We now have a cool bag always in the boot, with container of water, cups, kettle, coffee, teabags, cupasoups, small bottle of milk, and one of those single burner gas rings in a plastic case, so we just find somewhere nice and quiet, brew up, and enjoy our lunch in the fresh air. We have paper kitchen roll to rinse and wipe the cups and clean up before we move on again. No hassle and no hubby moaning about rip-off prices in cafes etc!
Before leaving the caravan in the morning, I often put a few veg and some stewing steak or something in the slow cooker - the smell when we get back is wonderful. Then I open a can of potatoes (wouldn't dream of having them at home), sometimes bring a couple of frozen Yorkhire puds back with us from our travels, and have a meal fit for anyone.
Now the nibbles . well, that's another matter!
