Well we have a 2006 Bailey Senator Carolina. It’s our fourth new caravan and I have to say it’s the muts nuts. Every other new caravan we have had has had faults right from day one. Our Lunar suffered sixty-three faults in just three years, including water ingress twice and floor de-lamination. Utter crap!
The Bailey has had a window mist up as the inner pane and outer pane had separated on one corner. This is a part that Bailey out-source, so hardly their fault. It was replaced free of charge within two weeks. Otherwise absolutely perfect!
No other manufacturer is offering a six-year water ingress and floor de-lamination warranty like Bailey, so they must be very confident in their product to sell them with this length of liability. Also I know that they have an environmental chamber, into which one van in every ten goes. It is then chilled to minus something, baked to thirty something and then sprayed with water for seventy-two hours! If a damp test then shows any sign of water ingress all ten are rejected for re-work.
------------- Shall we take the awning down; in-case it rains in the morning?
