My ideal site is a nice clean site with wonderful views either over countryside or where you can see the sea. We like Binghams Farm as it is an adult site with lovely views, they have proper bathrooms, so you can have privacy if you son't like using public toilets, and they have a restaurant upstairs which is nice to have a meal and a drink then just a short distance walk back to your caravan.
Mind you one holiday a year we take our grandson, and that's a totally different holiday, but we can just bear it for the one week of seeing our grandson having a great time!
Know what you mean Mrs Mop. We have nine grand kids. But all there parents are campers . We go camping with them but there parents take there units so they dont have to stay over in our Caravan....... Only sometimes.
WE like to chill,so....Ones with good facilities and a no noise after 11pm rule enforced, preferably inland with views across the countryside but not too far from a decent pub and places to visit are are preferred sort..An absence of those who seem unable to go anywhere without dragging along a menagerie of Dogs,Cats,Parrots, and other noise generating wildlife is a much appreciated bonus.

Having done our first rally last year, we find it great to be on a field full of friends. No turning back for us. Since doing our first rally last April, we have not been to a commercial site again.
While you can make friends on a commercial site, it's nice to arrive on a sitewhere you know almost every one, but are left alone to do your own thing, with the option of joining them at the functions if you want to.
