My hubby would have been out like a shot to give you a hand, though it is a really bad idea to try and erect it in the wind, as we know to our cost (hole in side of 'van a few years back). We have had a few awning rows in the past, though ours only goes up for week long or more stays now.  The bigger the awning, the longer/heavier they are for sure.

PDQs are rubbish btw.
