Our 2006 Zenith 4 has the car bonnet type strut on the front locker lid, so no problems with that, but we have got some slight crazing on the front panel where it meets the awning channel, although its not really noticable and i believe its just the gel coat thats cracked slightly in that area.
To date we have not had any problems with the kitchen sink unit coming away, although I believe that our unit is slightly different to the pre-2006 models. in that it has a round sink and removable plastic drainer instead of the tradional square shape with drainer incorporated.
If i was to really want to pick fault, it would be the edgings around the insides of the lockers that have slightly shrunk away from the timber at the corners, and If we had bought the caravan from new, and the Lunar garauntee was still valid, then this would be an issue we would want them to address.
As part of the deal when we first bought the caravan secondhand, we had all the internal trim strip replaced with the white plastic 'D' edging, as it was pealing away in several places. The caravan had not been used much when we had bought it, and we were given to believe that it had come into stock as a 'bereavement sale', so the cushions we still fairly firm. Three seasons on, and with a total of about 24 weeks full usage since we bought it, and the front bench seats had started to sag and become uncomfortable, so we have just paid out for them to be refilled with a better quality deeper foam, although as theres usually just the two of us in residence, the rear dinette cushions were just fine, as they had not had so much wear on them.
On the To-Do list this year, is the sealant around the back nearside light cluster, which actually gets full sun, and then the harshest part of the winter weather when its parked on our drive. As as a consequence of this, the sealant has cracked and come away from the join between light and back panel, and I want to catch this before any water gets into the gap between the lower panel and the internal wall boards, as its already showing a damp reading of 20% along that rear corner seam inside the caravan, likewise the opposite side will also be resealed for peace of mind.
Two new tyres, and a motor mover service, along side the regular one, and we should be well set up hopefully for a couple more seasons to come, although my long term dream would be to return to being a Coachman owner once more, if only the new ones were just not so heavy!
