They used to be good about 20 years ago, and we would often stop off at one when hitch free and an route to a day's sailing. The last one we pulled into was on the A55 to allow elderly parents to use the Toilet an route to their Friends house for the day. The smell of stale rancid fat hit you as soon as we entered the door, and a large sign warned of CCtv being in operation and the fact that the car park was chargeable via Parking eye for any non customers who used it. Hence we ordered 4 Coffees, and retained the reciept. We sat outside at the tables to drink them to avoid the smell of the place, but it was the worst quality coffee I had ever tasted, Cheap instant stuff served with just one small UHT milk portion tub sat on each saucer. We certainly will not be returning, and although we always try and use our own facilities by pulling into a layby whilst towing, when hitch free our facilities of choice are always the McDonald's services, which we find the quality and pricing much fairer and better.
