No not at all. Its been quite amusing seeing peoples reactions. Its gone from people agreeing to people disagreeing and then its been like the waiting room of an Endoscopy Unit.
So many ailments especially IBS which should I dare mention is largely down to peoples modern day eating habits. (not picking you sufferers though)
Above all, it was merely an observation that this year the amount of people driving to the facilities was noticable. I didnt have a "bad hair day" (Ive got no hair) and I had a great holiday.
Apologies to those who seem rather upset about it but at least it makes a change from "Can I tow a twin axle with my reliant robin?" or "Which club, CC or C&CC?" posts.

I have seen this and at times its just pure laziness. OK if people do have problems i would understand, but them that dont have no excuses. I must admit I have been to the loo on my bike before now but do prefer to walk and often go the long way round to have a nose!
I don't see what business it is of anyone elses anyway. Some people actually have to use their vehicles to get around comfortably. If someone chooses to drive to the toilet block, as long as they stick to the site speed limits & they're paying for their own pitch then fair play to them.
I'm far more worried about the prospects of having neighbours with loud music, football playing kids who seem to like to use our awning as a goal & a turkey of a father/husband/partner who likes to demonstrate his inablity to fly kites if there's the slightest breeze, than I am about someone driving their car around the site too much.
Can i change the subject slightly... recently we drove our car to the facilities as our son has severe learning difficulties, epilepsy and uses a wheel chair. on arrival to the disabled toilet facilty, the unit was engaged. we waited a while, as the occupent used the hairdryer, etc., as she came out, able bodied and immaculate (covered in make up and hair ghd'd to death) my son had soiled himself. i challenged the 'lady' in question... she pointed to out to me that the bathroom did not have a picture of a wheelchair on it and as such it was for very vain people such as herself to use as they see fit. when my son and i entered, the facility was set out as we would wish it to be with an elevated toilet and a call alarm along with a seat next to the shower!! i have spoken to the owner of our site. He assured me that the residents of his site would respect the facility. I had to disagree!
That is very bad. We use mainly CC sites and they always have the disabled room locked, so that type of situation would not normally arise.
We were on a site in Sweden where the disabled room was right next to the entrance to the facilities block and was left open. EVERYBODY was using it. The floor was filthy as a result. I used our own shower instead.
The room was marked as a disabled facility.
Very surprised that the disabled facilities were not properly marked on your site.

If you have an illness or disability that means you can't walk far to the toilets why not explain this to the campsite owner when you book and ask if you can be pitched near to the facilities so that you don't have to drive to the toilets. Most campsite owners/managers will want to restrict car movements to a minimum on the site for safety reasons and I'm sure will try to be as obliging as possible.
Yeah Sure then you you get all the noise and $$** behavior of the inbetweenys
who are bored out of their adolescent skulls too old for playpark to young for drinky
poo,s so resort to making the loos a no go area for us silver surfers i,d rather empty my cassete 3 times a day than suffer that again! rant over!.
