Use Aldi caravan and black streak remover all through the summer months whilst being used. Then last clean of the year, end of November clean as normal with the Aldi cleaner and then do it with Fenwick's Bobby dazzler.

I’ve not had great results with Fenwicks of late. I ended up T-Cutting some black marks afterwards. I swear it used to clean it to a much better standard than if late, so I’ll be looking around for something else. I used to make up a spray bottle of 1 part Fenwicks - 10 parts water, & set to on the worse bits with a spray & a brush before the main wash; but even that didn’t work this time.
I’ll try Autoglym, I was very impressed with the car products, especially the wet wax. So easy to use.
It’s a shame when long standing products change. I’m hoping it hasn’t as I used Fenwicks for all sorts, cleaning patio equipment, cleaning guttering & fascias, UPVC window frames. It was always the go-to product. The 1-10 mix would shift anything. :-(

After several years of using the Aldi cleaner and black streak remover, I tried Silky cleaner this year - the difference really was night and day. Discolouration, marks and grime that the Aldi cleaner failed to remove came off straight away with Silky. After a final polish with Autoglym the van looks better than it has in years.

I note that this is an old thread but a few years back when I had a caravan I bought some Fenwicks caravan cleaner (I don't remember which one) and it left the caravan paintwork matt and covered in a white powdery substance which took a lot of cleaning off.

At the time Mr Fenwick was a member here and had a lot of followers so when I mentioned it in the caravan forum I was criticised and told that couldn't happen and generally abused. Since I seemed to be the only one that happened to I had to assume I had done something wrong or there was some substance already on my cleaning brush that reacted with Fenwicks.

It is interesting now, after about 9 years, to come across this thread, which seems to vindicate me - lol.

I used the Fenwicks and thought it was ok but not great. But then I realised that the Black Streak Remover was just the same formulation to a stronger concentration so I increased the strength next time I wished it and it was loads better. In the meanwhile though, I had bought some MucOff and that worked really well. (I did see some comments though where people said MucOff damaged the paintwork...)
You can’t win 😆 Just try and few things and do what’s best for you.

I have used the Fenwicks cleaner and Bobby Dazzler and I have to say am impressed with both. However, I did buy some Aldi Black streak remover and have to say it was rubbish. Just did not do what it said on the tin at all.

Another vote for Autoglym Shampoo and Conditioner. I have used it for years on all my caravans.
With polishing ( I use the Autoglym Polish and followed by Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection, the caravan stays looking like new .
Great stuff!
