We were told week 45 (Nov 9 - 15), but we haven't heard anything from the dealers since we ordered it. Should I have heard something by now? it's only ~2.5 weeks away.
Give your dealer a call Mark. We were given a provisional date to collect it from them (PDI dependent) plus an exact date of when it's going to be made in the Bailey factory (9th Nov!).

My parents were there buying a mini heki rooflight that they wanted to fit onto their current van, they were also looking around the used vans (that's when they spotted me)... they are on their 3rd van in a space of a year!
They took me around the 6 berth used vans to try and tempt me into a purchase. ;-)

Looks like our vans are siblings... dealer has just told me our van was built on the 9th Nov. Delivery expected next week.
To make our bed more comfy I put the two backrest at the bottom and turn the big cushions so they go across the van with the knee rolls on the outer sides. That gives us a long section of sprung cushion to lie on.
Sorry about the late reply - our rear dinette bed cusions are tight in our Bretagne, I have slept on it fine though. While the bed is not as long as the bunks I take it over the floor bed!!! I think the rear bedrooms are identical in length for the two models.
I must have missed the post, what happened about the rear heating?
They are very tight and i agree that i'd take that bed over the bottom bunk lol. I think they are the same length as they are basically the same lol.
We decided against the heating duct because it was going to cost at least £160.00. We'll see how we get on with our £4 tesco's oil filled rad or buy something else but i'm not paying a weeks pitch fee just for heating in one room lol

Mark.
Our very first van is at the dealers... got to wait until late next week to pick it up!
My time under canvas is over!
Can't wait to surprise the rest of the family, it's been 17 weeks since ordering it.
So guys do you have your vans yet? We have been really depressed as we've just reailsed that we cant use ours again until just after xmas....poss new year.
Its soooooo nice to speak to people that love theirs as much as we do ours. Cant be without one. We have even booked our next years holiday already and our son (now 3) keeps asking to go home camping and wants to go on the big boat.
I think its a shame that all of my friends laugh at us for having a van, wish they'd come away as Oliver gets upset when he makes friends then one of us has to go home! Would you believe that I once shared the same opinion as Jeremy Clarkson and thought all caravans should be crushed and camping should only ever be done under canvas.................................I hang my head in shame for a while but not since being totally converted and addicted to this site!!!!!!!
Ahh let them laugh at you. More room on the sites for us. We can go away a lot more often than them and spend a lot less than them. So who's laughing now, he he.
I know what you mean about not wanting a caravan before you had one. We were the same, the thought of being stuck in a tiny little caravan with 3 screaming kids filled me with dread. And the thought of sleeping on the floor in a damp tent in the pouring rain was just a nightmare thought. Then we got given a tt and then moved onto a caravan and now can't imagine not having her. We went to Butlins this weekend staying in their accomadation and i missed my caravan. I have everything that i need in her so just need to pack clothes and so many times over the weekend i found myself saying "i've got some in the caravan but not here" lol.
I used to love caravaning with my parents when I was a kid. We lived on the continent, so popping over to Holland for a weekend break was just an hours drive, six hours got us to Switzerland :-)
Our summer holiday was three weeks in southern france.
