Sorry if I am too late in responding , but I have just been through everything with regard to renewing my breakdown insurance. I actually had a need when at Burrs Country park site to call Mayday out - my car clutch failed when out on a visit without the caravan which was back on site. I had the full Premium UK policy and double journey etc...

Their service was EXCELLENT cannot praise them enough!

First call out time was 38 mins - they came, checked car and as it was undriveable asked what we wanted to do. We asked them to take us back to caravan site and leave us there for one night so we could get the caravan ready for road again (take down awning etc)

Next morning as arranged they came back spot on time and rigged us up. They made sure they changed the caravan toball to the dry type to match my ALKO hitch. So off we went and I explained we keep our caravan on drive at home so they dropped van off there first then took car direct to the garage for repairs.

This was in reality a triple journey and at no extra cost. Well satisfied (apart from the £600 repair bill of course!!!)

Best thing I have found is both our cars are covered including the caravan and the UK premium cost of £110 includes the legal protection for uninsured losses for all 3 vehicles! This has saved us another wedge of money as normally I take this out on each car's insurance. Another thing is Premium UK includes Home start at the front door.

So to sum up my experience is that I will always use MAYDAY it is cheaper for equivalent services than RAC or AA. So have just renewed by Direct Debit and for this I am going to get a £5 M&S voucher so true cost for the year will be £105 all in 2 cars + Caravan ! excellent!

Well Mayday get my vote .

We broke down today on porlock hill , on about the steepest bit possible , as far as me and the Greenflag man can tell it's a bust transfer box , it caused the rear wheels to jam solid , so he jacked my 4x4 up on a 1 in 4 hill and disconnected the prop .
We were looked after very well through out the whole experience , and are now back at Minehead Caravan Club site ( yep we're on holiday ) and are being taken home tomorrow by Greenflag .
Well today made me really happy i decided to join Mayday Greenflag through the Caravan Club .
