Going to Clumber Park, can't wait, what i will say though, is that last year they did have cancellations and some had booked just a few days before.

hi lozzie. we are all going to Hillside caravan park, ( again) north of Thirsk.

we booked last August and phoned to confirm that it was still ok last week, sorry i did not think to ask if they still had any vacancies left. you but try.

Ulti-Mates, Chatsworth is lovely, not been to the CC site though. Will the weather warm up before easter - its only 5 weeks away! Its been cold for so long i can't imagine having warmer weather ever again. Where in S Glos are you based? I have a brother and friends in Yate and my sister lives in Wootton under Edge! I went to Chipping Sodbury School (a long time ago though!)

If you don't manage to find anything you can start to check the Late Availability section on the Caravan Club Website, it's updated in real time so if people cancel pitches etc then you may find something that way but I'm sure you'll want to get something sorted now!!

DONE IT !!!! BOOKED IT !!!  YIPPEEE !!! affter what feels like 1000 phone calls tonight i was left a message from a site i contacted yesterday, it is called Wolds Way Camp Site, at Malton, (N Yorkshire) it has really good reviews and is  voted in the best 101 campsites (Caravan Magazine) lovely people and a working farm with access to feeding lambs, collecting eggs, and beef cattle who like digestive biscuits !!! so excellent for the children sounds like its been worth waiting for,,,as i was fed up with hearing SORRY FULL UP !!

naburn lock caravan park Nr York is very good, been there on several occasions,otherwise try Lakeside at Castle Howard,believe they have put quite a few hardstandings in there over the winter. Hope you get fixed up

Hi Lassie.  We're in Bradley Stoke (or Sadly Broke, as its fondly known).  Mr U-M's office is in Yate.  I am from Frampton Cotterell originally (although Mr U-M is from way oop North in Scun-thorpe.
