We did get out and check that nothing was wrong when he was acusing me of loading incorrectly. Tyres looked fine at that time.
I have spoken to him and we have found a receipt for new tyres on the van 2 years ago.
There was a lot of debris in the site we stayed at and it may have been a slow puncture from there. Or maybe just a random thing as it does happen.
2 new tyres now fitted and going to check all the under side as we didn't think at the time about the water pipes etc.
