One for DSB (David) , been using Jacksons own brand for a year now , no worries , no bad smells or bits that shouldn`t be in the flush tank .

A couple of years back we were on a site where the normal "thetford" chemicals were not allowed and we had to use Fenwick's Top & Tail.

Since changing over to using that, we have had no more problems.

The loo chemicals no longer "go off" after a few days and we do not get any either black bits or pink bits as we did before with the thetford stuff.

Also we find it easier to store just one bottle.

Hi , found this on the other forum. The Walled Garden Maybole

This park has to be one of the best run, greenest and cleanest, environmentally friendly caravan parks in Scotland and probably the UK.   Many thanks to Jim the Proprietor and his staff for a wonderful relaxing week

If I have any reservations at all it's a wee bit of a drive along some quite narrow lanes, but for a seasoned caravanner not much of a problem, as the place its self makes up for it.

In the meantime, back to Lobey's question: Why is it that 99 times out of a 100, is it the men who are seen emptying the loos?

I don't know why mostly men empty the loos, I have noticed that as well - I empty ours just as much as hubby does

Perhaps it's the same principle ad BBQ-ing - they won't do much at home but as soon as there's an audience the men love to look like they're capable & in control...

I do my share of emptying the cassette too Woofers !

Only had black bits once when I used aqua kem pink. Tried top and tail once and hated the smell. Back to good old Elsan.

It's 45 years to the day WE won the world cup, And Oh by the way I happened to get married on this very DAY, I think this  is why they love latrine duties  as being in the SH-ONE-T makes them feel at home they seem to spend an awful lot of time on/in the loo no matter how clean or otherwise it is.   j6
