Our old 1992 van was called Agatha!! Havn't even thought about naming our new one yet - an old name seemed to suit before - wouldn't be any fun using a modern name!

------------- WHY DOES SHE TELL ME EVERYTHING IS MY FAULT?
Well I must be sad as I have named all my cars over the years and we currently have: * Toyah-ota (8 seater Toyota Hi Ace Super Custom) * Wilma Daisy (classic Mini) * Holi (Fisher Holivan caravan) * Mr Bean (classic Mini - done up like Mr Bean's!) * Old Mini (OH's first car he got when he was 17!) and 17 year old son is trying to decide what to call his classic Mini!!
Our caravan is called Abbey(its a Spectrum),our Ford Explorer is Dora (Dora the Explorer......!) and my minibus is Bessie!!
Sad arent we and i know theyre not 'real' etc but we even thank Abbey for lovely hols and Dora for towing so well and getting us all wherever we are going safe and sound!

Our caravan, an Abbey Vogue, is called 'Fresme' after my late parents, Fred and Esme, whose hard work and savings enabled us to buy her and the car to tow her. - Aaaaah!
Fresme is away at the moment having her service, and the drive seems so empty without her!
After an unpleasant comment made in my fleetwood repair thread ours is sadly called the BodgeBox and when asked where we are going on our holidays the reply is silicon valley. I suppose we should have called it Mac.

Mine caravan is called Patch4. Patch was the caravan I spent my pre school holidays and weekends in and was so named because of the multiple patches she had acquired over the years. I think it was built just after WW2 and originally had a canvas roof which my dad replaced with aluminium. From memory I think the side panels were plywood but I do remember helping to paint them with a roller. Patch had a solid fuel stove for heating and we used to burn sea coal that we collected when walking along the beach.
Patch 4 is the third caravan I have owned (I get attached to them so I don't like to change them very often and the last one I had for 20 years (called Patch3 but often referred to as Sh*te Sprite when anything went wrong!).

Having just completed the refurb of our van [she was a tired old soul when we got her] We liked the ' Eddie ' idea of having a graphic on the body, so I've had 2 made in my oldest Grandaughters name...Roseanne Genevive or Rosie as we now call her.
