It's nice to be important but its more important to be nice
I pack mine and the kids clothes-hubby does his own.
once we're at the site,i do inside(including the all important tea making) then,if we are using the big awning i give him a hand-he can do the porch awning on his own.
eldest son does the water barrels and sets up the waste barrel-he also empties it,bless him
i have the joyous job of emptying the toilet(no.1's only allowed!!)--for some reason.hubby reckons i use it more than him...........???
hubby then does ALL the cooking for the whole of the holiday-and the kids do most of the washing up :)

Xmas-still looking...
Hubby unhitches I put the legs Down he does the outside stuff and finds the satellite signal while I unload the car and sort the inside I then make sandwiches and a cuppa and we both relax.
OH packs the clothes, food etc, I take it all into the yoot. I tow the caravan and unload stuff into caravan where OH unpacks it while I get on with sorting out water, leccy, loo etc and start putting the awning up. We both do the tweaking of awning poles.
I tend to cook on cadac (even managed a full chicken sunday roast last outing). I always have to empty toilet and refill aquarolls.
I help oh pull the awning through the rail and if its windy hold a pole or two, then I go in side and get everything nice and cosy and clothes all stored in the over head lockers, kids settled etc. Once awning carpet down I get to work on putting things together in there. Once set up I will do water and waste and sort recycling/bin etc. I don't do the toilet or haven't yet but only because he hasn't shown me that bit yet and I haven't pushed to be shown to be honest.
Im lucky as OH hates sitting around doing nothing so he enjoyes a bit of tinkering here and there and keeping things ticking over. The cadac is very much his toy though
Anyone who was camping at the same place as us a couple of weekends back must have thought im a proper lazy moo
OH took our youngest up on the Saturday and set everything up ,I drive up on the Sunday evening after work to be greeted with a glass of wine and a BBQ ,spend the day with them on Monday then got up showered and took off in my car on Tuesday morning ,leaving OH to decamp all by himself
Usually though ,he tends to do the outdoor setting up stuff and I do the inside setting up stuff ,unless its raining or we are in a hurry then we both do outside .
