The strangest thing I ever saw ( and sadly I don't have a picture ) is a man stark nekkid having a stretch in his van, it had a big window so was obviously L shaped, the caravan I mean.

The road can be tough and rough, but what you put in you get back 10 x more.

One of the stangest sites must have been a few years back when we stayed between Chester and Ellesmere. We had so much rain they decided to shut down the grass pitches. As hardstandsing became available, it was a bit of a competition to see who could get onto it first. We moved a caravan with the awning still attached. We unpegged everything and got some one to carry/ support each pole as we slowly moved the van, which we hitched up to the car. It was a simple and smooth process and worked a treat - it can be done. I'm sure I had a photo somewhere - will have to look it out.
The same thing happened to us when we went to peterborough truck fest with a group of people off this site & managed to pitch in between the grass pitches & had to unpeg & walk the awning onto a pitch...

Certainly do-able, but you get some strange looks from some.
