Caravan Club sites are excellent and very well run. Not the cheapest in the world, but well worth it in my opinion.
In Your Opinion !!!
If the CC sites you have visited are excellent and well run why haven't you bothered to review any of them for the benefit of UKCS members ???

I do not do it simply because I prefer to answer direct questions, i never read the reviews personally and assume rightly or wrongly that there are many more like me. My opinion on CC sites is exaxfly the same as is described above.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
Forgive me but what is the cost for an average pitch per night for non members compared to the cost to members etc ie is it really worth the 40quid joining fee ?????????? am only asking because i cant seem to find the costings for both members and non members etc . I like the idea because I like the idea of visiting some quieter sites just need to justify the joining fee etc.
We are members of both clubs but hardly ever use club sites, always use CLs or CSs and have CC insurance. Even with age concession and midweek discount we find club sites expensive and we don't need facilities.
We have recently joined the CC, we have been members of the C&CC for a couple of years now and have our caravan insured with them.
We joined both so that we can have the best of both worlds and can plan our trips to where we want to go and not where the sites are.
Down to personal opinion i think
