Booked main holiday and a couple of weekends. Well done CC! It appears to have worked.BUT I still think there should have been postal bookings for those people who work and couldn't book this morning. Chatsworth was already fully booked within 15 minutes for the weekend of the Country Fair in Sept.

I saw that too...how do they do it! I couldnt get on at all. Now I have an booked all the sites I wanted except Chatsworth but the C & CC site at bakewell still has spaces for that weekend so gone there instead!x

Went on at 9.40 and booked all I wanted by 9.55
big improvement on last year.
Well done Caravan club

Wonder how many of us will be as quick to send them praise as we are at moaning when they don't get things right.

Still think they should release the bookings in stages throughout the year instead of all the bank hollidays at one go.

Logged on and it took about 10 minutes to get to the booking page. Just sat here clicking the "Book" button until it was my turn to get in. Booked  a holiday and then it was back to the "Book" button. However, once the first booking had been made it quickly let me back in to make another booking. Next year sorted especially Knaresborough for our weekend at the Test Match next August....and we do go to each site we book. Right just a few CLs to sort out next January and whoosh...that's another year gone.

Nice easy system for booking.....you just need to have your coffee and buscuits ready to pass the time until its your turn to book.

Hi Huw, yes it closed on 31st October 2011. The management contract ran out and was not renewed

Well done CC not only have I booked the sites I wanted when I wanted them. I have had confirmation through for 1 AND amended it because I hadn't booked the right dates DUH!!!!

I rarely have any complaints about the CC and praise is certainly deserved this morning.

As Phil says, once first booking was made it seemed easier to get back on. I have also managed to book an extra weekend ! So i am very pleased - just need to send OH a list of dates to book his holidays from work. That'll cheer him up!

We could have booked a weekend at Chartsworth for any day in January and February before booking for 2012 opened today!

Well I've managed to book ours, my sisters and most of my parents within the space of an hour. The only one we couldn't get was the Bridlington site together for may day weekend, no matter, we'll go another time and go to Buxton instead. Most importantly I've booked a site for the Olympics!!!!!!!!!!!!
Booked Abbey Wood for 4 days, the 1st booking I made, good job too as it's full now for the dates we wanted. Very happy. Well done CC. Very smooth.

Logged in at about 10am straight in no problems and booked two sites, one for Easter and the other for the June Jubilee weekend, no problems at all. Looked at other sites throughout the year and all sites were bookable on the dates we wanted but didtnt bother as not that critical. Seemed to be alot easier than the previous couple of years, so congratulations to the staff at the Caravan Club who seem to have got it right this time. Good Luck to the rest of you

No, nobody could have booked it for us. We are a young family who work full time and we don't have any friends or family in the club. Not the kind of members the Club is catering for, it seems...
