sorry to resurect an ancient thread but;

ive just read this thread through from the beginning and im surprised to see that noone has mentioned using ausing automotive detailing clay to remove the worst of the marks/staining.

i have used this stuff on all my cars in the past few years and the difference afterwards is amazing, i cant imagine a caravan being any different, just a bit bigger.

if anyone does decide to use it for the first time just remember it needs loads of lubricating fluid to keep it working properly and to protect the paint from scratching.

also +1 for the detailing world forum and autoglym's extra gloss protection (BTW the trade version of this is called Liquid Hard Wax and works out cheaper).

can not be used on a caravan because the paint used is only microns thick unlike a cars paintwork.
