Some sites allow caravanners to run their grey water (ie washing up and shower water) into the hedge and in times of drought some actually encourage it as at least it provides some moisture for the soil. It is after all only soapy water, nothing dangerous or contageous. Toilets however should always be emptied in the correct place, and never near a drinking tap.
I've done it quite a bit on CS's that don't have a drain, grey water is to be put in the hedgerow, so I just use my long waste pipe, if I'm there more than a couple of days I move the end of the pipe to prevent saturating one bit of ground.
Well done for saying something. It is idiots like this who spoil it for everyone else.OH and I have a shiney 4x4 and a new caravan. Both of which I have worked hard for, and am proud to own.But I would always empty my loo in the correct place- after all rules are rules and they are for everone to follow.

I accept that hedgerows are often used for grey water, I have done so myself often when requested by the site owner. To let it empty direct onto the pitch is another matter. I have arrived on pitches to find what I believe to be rice or pasta on the pitch where I believe the wastemaster would normally be .Some people do not scrape their plates before washing them in the sink. I also saw someone just open their door and chuck a bowel of tatty peelings onto the grass outside. Don't get me started on fag ends
