Confirmed scam.
First step of the process is the ad, second, get in touch via email (outside ebay).
They're getting better though. User is registered for a couple of months and has some feedback.

Well this is the latest on the saga,think I buy this one

Hi and sorry for the late reply. Currently I am in Rennes, France with my husband for an urgent throat surgery and I left my van in garage in Riddings.

This is the main reason for selling the van, we might need the extra money for surgery and recovery.

I will let it go for £5100 (delivery included if is needed).

Because I'm in France right now I decided to use eBay Vehicle Purchase Protection Program because is safer for everyone. Since this deal will be handled through eBay, you'll send the money to eBay and after they confirm me that they have it, I will purchase a next day plane ticket and you can come and pick up the van from me directly or i will deliver it personally to you.

You will have 5 days testing period while you can decide if you keep it or not. This way you'll be able to inspect the vehicle before I get any money from eBay.
