I had no external socket on my Orion. So I got a camping 3 socket and RCD/MCB from Halforts and added a meter of extra cable and a blue Plug. So now I can plug into the caravan and also have an external socket in the awning.

I also can clip it onto the chasse of the van when we are not using an awning. But I would not plug anything in to the outside sockets unless we have on awning up.
