The purpose of a break or holiday away from home is to have a better time than if one is at home so one needs a plan to ensure that is achieved.
When I take my 5 children away camping, the weather makes no differance to the kids, even if it is raining, we put on our wetsuits and go to the beach, the kids love it, play in the water mess around in the wet sand, better then sitting down looking at the rain, we can do that at home, so might as well make the most of it, the younger kids love it the most, all good childhood memories to look back on when they are older, if there is a playground on the campsite, the kids put on rain coat, rain pants and wellies and off they go having fun, jumping in puddles, chasing each other around the play ground x
