Before I bought my Burstner, which I imported, I had lots of comments that I would have difficulty getting insurance and as the door was on the wrong side I wouldn't be allowed on some sites,In 15 years I never had a problem with either!
I was going to change and import a hobby 3 years ago, I still managed to get a quote for insurance but due to health problems I had to give up caravanning.

Towergate won't insure foreign made caravans.
I insured my Burstner through the caravan club no problems.
