Thanks for the positve feedback. I was getting worried with the negative responses. We haven't even picked the caravan up yet and I could do with all the encouragement I can get. New to this website and to caravanning.

Our first caravan was a 12 year old pageant cabrolet and it was just great, never had a problem. We now have a new series 5 pageant bordeaux, only reason is don't have to make the bed every day (lazy), would not have any other.

We picked ours up on Friday, Pageant Provence 5 berth & we're just about to go out & sit in it with a cuppa, sad or what.

Well, reading the above the ones I looked at on the dealer forecourt must have been one offs, The finish in my opinion was not as good as some other vans in the same price range (12-13k). on every one we looked at the curtains would not pull across, now I know this is an easy fix but on a demo van! They should be the best prepped and checked. I was rather dissapointed as we did go with the intention of buying a Bretagne for the fixed bunks but I was put off with the finish and attention to detail, Locker doors were a skew and one of the demo vans had two screws in the wardrobe door where there should have been six, they weren't missing as such, the holes were missing from the hinges!

The dealer should be shot for displaying a van in that state.

I have a Bretagne and have been very, very pleased with it.

Hi we have a 2nd hand Bailey Ranger and thankfully the previous owner looked after it really well, you would not think that it is second hand.  No dogs, no kids, non smokers and only used for 5 nights, it came with tyron bands, micro-dot security, electronic tag and a fiamma outside extra door lock.  Just have your wits about you and use your nose, smell everywhere.  Good luck, Gary

Hi all

We picked up our new Bailey just a few weeks ago and love it, having a fixed bed is wonderfull 

We had a new elddis hurricane before and it just fell to bits in 2 years and the dealer did not want to know

I agree with Jaybee.  I know thatsometimes the vans they have for display are not always as perfect as the brand new ones but to be in such a poor state is off putting.  We have a Bretagne and are very happy with it.
