Does anyone else do camping and caravaning meets and get on alright with the showers in the fixed bed caravans.   My wife isn't convinced about them and she really would like the seperate cubicle type that you get in the end bathrooms.

Ours has a fixed bed but still has a seperate shower cubicle. but  the toilet and shower is on the side. Neither my OH or I are small people by any stretch of the imagination and the cubicle is big enough to use comfortably

FB, Do you happen to know how big a battery the battery box will take?

Want to take a new battery when I pick the new van up so I can try out the motor mover.

Was thinking about a pair of calor gas propane bottles either 6kg or 13kg . . . Not thought about the lightweight bottles. Are they more expensive?

We bought our Bailey Ranger from Leeds Read Caravans at the start of the season. The price was the cheapest we saw at the time and we managed to get some freebies thrown in.

We must have spent 40 hours plus looking at caravans over a few weekends before deciding to buy a Bailey Ranger. Once the decision was made (by the OH) we went to a few dealers to talk turkey and found Reads to be most receptive to a  bit of haggling. A couple of weeks after doing the deal we were feet up with a glass of red in our shiny new van and no regrets.
